Mr. Lefkowitz has been admitted in New York since 1973 and in New Jersey since 1983. His practice experience includes government service (New York City Corporation Counsel) and affiliation with small and medium-sized firms. He commenced his private practice in 1984. His practice has been dedicated mainly to litigation at the trial and appellate levels with substantial appellate experience. He has also had substantial mediation experience, both as an advocate and as a mediator, in complex commercial cases. Although the majority of Mr. Lefkowitz’s experience, both in private practice and as a mediator, has been in commercial litigation, he also has experience in wills, trusts and estates, Surrogate’s Court litigation, general corporate matters, construction law, personal injury, and medical malpractice.
